A garden where geometry, silence and vegetation find their balance.
Inspired by the serenity of the Japanese garden, Mas d’en Serra is built around an essential composition of lines, volumes and voids. Large paving slabs mark out the path and expand to create small outdoor spaces, establishing a leisurely dialogue between the architecture and the garden.
The vegetation is limited to a few carefully chosen elements. A carpet of Festuca glauca provides continuity, texture and movement, whilst the sculptural forms of Pinus mugo emerge from the planting, introducing depth and contrast.
A restrained and contemplative landscape, where simplicity does not mean absence, but rather space to pause, observe and feel.
